Our mission is to provide technical services to lessen the burdens of all levels of government and to enhance economic development, building regulatory efficiency, and public safety in the Northwest United States, starting with Washington. We are capable of acting as "government on-call", suppporting local, state and Federal staffs on an as-needed basis.

WAIBTS will:

• Augment existing building code departments as needed.
• Provide certification training.
• Develop and provide field training.
• Build and manage building code departments for local jurisdictions until such time as the local jurisdictions can take over the work.
