IBTS, the parent company of WAIBTS, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, established to provide impartial evaluations, research and technical assistance to reduce the burden on Federal, state and local government agencies. WAIBTS is proud to carry on that 25-year tradition, seeking to provide outstanding services in plan reviews, inspections and training in the Northwest Regional building community.

WAIBTS strives to provide private sector efficiency with governmental credibility. Located in Bellevue, Washington, WAIBTS’s staff includes engineers, architects, inspectors, and regulatory specialists. This multi-disciplined staff of engineers and technicians has expertise in program administration, performance measurement, auditing, quality management, information systems and support, housing/building regulations, and design and construction contract administration.
